Box of Dreams, Pockets of Wonder - tech skills for young people at the Digital Studio

Box of Dreams & Pockets of Wonder dives into the world of creative tech where young people can learn about cool electronics incorporating upcycling, textiles, electronic sensors and lights. This five-week after school program will help them on their way to becoming a maker/designer with flair!

Each session will last two hours and will focus on teaching new skills in design, technical use of equipment, electronics and creative thinking. Over the five weeks participants will create a box of dreams featuring electronic components or a fabric pocket featuring electronic components that can be sewn onto an existing garment.

The program is open to young people aged 13-18 interested in playful hands-on techskills.
