Tech Savvy: Managing digital assets for end of life
A digital asset is any information about you, or what belongs to you, that’s stored on a phone, computer or online. Digital assets may include our passwords to important websites, such as your bank or superannuation fund, material that you’ve posted on social media, your emails and photos and videos which may have been uploaded to the cloud. Digital assets are important and very valuable, but what happens to them when you’re no longer around? This topic will show how to make digital assets part of your end-of-life planning.
