Book club lending service

Book clubs who register with us and pay an annual fee have exclusive access to borrow kits that include a minimum of 10 copies of a book.

We welcome your suggestions for new titles and improvements to the service.

Using the book club service

Step 1.Register your club

All members of the club must also be members of the Coffs Harbour City Library Service. 

Each club needs to provide the contact details of a coordinator who must be over 18 years of age and those of a second contact person to receive notices. 

The club needs to be registered with a unique club name.  

Step 2.Pay subscription fee

Clubs are required to pay an annual subscription fee of $145 (incl. GST) to use the Library Book Club Service.

The annual subscription fee will be due 1st July each year along with the Book Club subscription agreement form.

Step 3.Choose a kit

Choose from a growing selection of contemporary titles(PDF, 368KB).

Kits include:

  1. Minimum of 10 copies of the book

  2. Discussion questions and notes 

Step 4.Borrow kits

The coordinator will be issued with 1 library membership card for the book club which can only be used to borrow book club kits.

Book club kits can be:

  • borrowed for 6 weeks at a time
  • borrowed no more than 2 kits at one time 
  • collected at Coffs Harbour Monday to Friday between 10 am and 5 pm unless prior arrangements have been made to collect from Toormina or Woolgoolga branches.
