Funding of between $1,000 and $7,000 is available annually to artists and community groups for projects and events that deliver clear arts, cultural, and community benefits. Funded projects should demonstrate outcomes that are identifiable and, where possible, measurable. The program supports a rich and inclusive cultural life by encouraging participation from people of all ages, cultural backgrounds, abilities and social circumstances. It recognises the important role arts and culture play in strengthening community wellbeing and contributing to the social and economic fabric of the region.

Strategic Alignment

This grant program supports the City of Coffs Harbour’s Cultural Policy and the Creative Coffs Cultural Strategic Plan, which are guided by the objectives of the City's MyCoffs 2035 Community Strategic Plan. The City is committed to fostering a vibrant cultural life and recognises its importance to the social health and economic prosperity of the Coffs Harbour region.

Priority Areas for Funding

Projects will be prioritised if they align with one or more of the following goals:

  1. Engage the community and visitors in the cultural life of the region
  2. Create and maintain vibrant cultural and public spaces
  3. Understand and celebrate Aboriginal and diverse cultural heritage
  4. Value and support creative industries
  5. Encourage connections, collaboration, and partnerships

Applications are open now, closing at 4pm, Monday 16 March.
