If you've been hesitant to explore technology but are eager to learn, this is the perfect opportunity to get started!

For people who didn’t grow up with computers, the internet can seem like a scary place. There is a world of unfamiliar jargon and new ways of communicating to contend with, and sometimes it can seem overwhelming. The truth is that the internet has become quite user-friendly in recent years, and anybody can access millions of websites, send emails, shopping and banking online, and much more.

· Understand the features of web browsers and how to navigate them

· Explore some of the best sites for common things you might like to do on the internet

· Keeping yourself safe online


What you’ll need to bring:

· Laptop with the ability to connect to the internet (if you don’t have one, please let us know in the comments section and Coffs Harbour Libraries will arrange a laptop for you.)
