ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
The UNE Discovery Voyager team is made up of passionate scientists, educators, and expert communicators who bring STEAM learning to life for students across northern NSW. With a deep commitment to hands-on, play-based education, these facilitators serve as role models, helping to bridge the gap in opportunities between regional and metropolitan students.
Each facilitator brings specialist knowledge and real-world experience in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), delivering interactive sessions that spark curiosity and critical thinking. Their engaging approach ensures that every student—whether in Kindergarten or Year 10—feels encouraged to explore, ask questions, and imagine themselves in STEAM careers.
Through thousands of classroom visits and community showcases, the Voyager team has built strong, lasting relationships with schools and educators, making UNE Discovery Voyager a trusted and highly valued part of school learning calendars.
