This hands-on class will give participants practical knowledge on how to create fun and catchy short videos on your smartphone or camera using CapCut video editing program.
What will be covered
Basic video editing techniques will be taught to enhance your videos using special effects, transitions and titles, splicing scenes as well as adding narration and music. We will also cover exporting to different video formats and sharing video to various social media platforms.
We demonstrate how to set up and film an in-studio interview and a short sequence of events as examples of content to make engaging videos to share. You are also welcome to bring your own video, including holiday or family videos, or use stock video from our library.
About the sessions
There will be three recurring sessions of this workshop, the first workshop is about learning together as a group excercise to learn the basics. The following two workshops will be an opportunity to bring your own ideas to life.
