Beginners Ukulele with Steph

Want to learn the ukulele?

A new Beginners Ukulele course starts Friday 10 February, 12.30-1.30pm at Toormina Library.

Run by Stephanie from Uko Ono, this course is perfect if you’re looking to start your ukulele journey – or you’re just feeling a little rusty. The ukulele is the easiest instrument to learn and you don’t need any prior musical experience.

In this 8-week course, you will learn how to hold and tune the ukulele, the basic chords and some simple strumming patterns, plus a bunch of great songs. Music has many positive effects on our health and wellbeing – plus it’s TONS OF FUN!

The course includes a take-home songbook and you can borrow a ukulele from the Library (yes, just like a book)!
