Kids

We encourage children to join the library - no child is too young to become a member! The library is the perfect place to support the development of early literacy skills.

Discover our collections

The library has a wide range of resources for children including picture and Board Books, beginner readers, junior fiction and non-fiction, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs and magazines; all the resources needed to help start your child’s love of reading.

We also have a great collection of eResources for kids to help them discover and explore, including Story Box Library, Tumblebooks and eBook and eAudobooks. Find them all in Kids' eResources.

The library catalogue gives you access to search our online and physical collections.

Programs and events

We run weekly Storytime for pre-schoolers and also hold school holiday activities for primary-aged children.

Summer Reading Club

The Summer Reading Club is held during December/January each year and we support children in reading for the NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge and the MS Readathon.
