Coffs Harbour Libraries presents regular weekly Children's Programs at each of the library branches. 

Below are the available programs and time and branch locations for each.

Duplo, jigsaws and games

Is your child a budding builder who loves to create with blocks or enjoys the challenge of a jigsaw? 

The children's spaces in each of the libraries provides the perfect space for your little ones unleash their imaginations and explore, learn and play with Duplo, jigsaws and games.

These fun and creative sessions are sure to delight!

Duplo, jigsaws and games is FREE to attend. No bookings required.

Children's Storytime

Storytime is an interactive program for children aged 2-5 years with stories, songs and activities that encourage exploration and imagination. Each session is a fun way to develop your child’s love of reading, manual dexterity and social skills.

Storytime at your library:

  • Encourages a lifelong love of reading
  • Develops literacy and social skills
  • Develops creativity and dexterity through play
  • Supports caregivers in their role as their child’s first and most important teacher
  • All in a relaxed and fun environment!

Storytime is FREE to attend. No booking required.

Baby Rhyme Time

Baby_Rhymetime_iStock-669407038.jpg Join us for this fun, interactive program. Baby Rhyme Time introduces babies and their carers to the magic of books and language through sharing rhymes, songs, finger-plays, action verse and simple stories.

  • Welcoming, friendly atmosphere
  • Sing and dance together
  • Learn stories and songs to try at home
  • Meet other parents and caregivers

Recommended for children 0-2 years.

Dress Up Fridays

Three children dressed in costumes Bring your little bookworms to Harry Bailey Memorial Library, Woolgoolga Library or Toormina Library each Friday between 10.30am and 1pm for a magical adventure!

They can choose from a wide variety of costumes to dress up in, then explore the library and use their imaginations to create their own stories.
