Book your ticket here

*Update as of the 28th of June 2021*
Storytime will be adapting its structure to comply with the new Covid-19 restrictions for rural NSW.
Attendees are asked to please wear a mask when attending Storytime. You can find more information out here about masks.
We will not being having any singing for the next few weeks, so we will include extra stories.
We will still be doing craft, so we ask that you don't share the craft materials with anyone outside of your family group and you maintain social distancing.

We please ask that if you are showing any of the symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed or showing symptoms of COVID-19, that you not use a Council facility at this time.

Storytime has a new structure to follow when attending: Bookings for sessions are required and the sessions can be found on Eventbrite.

When booking tickets, please book a ticket for each member in your family group! e.g. one ticket for the adult attending, and one ticket for each child attending.
• Tickets for each session are released at the start of the month.
• Please limit your attendance to once a fortnight - this allows other families to enjoy Storytime as well!
• We can have a maximum of 20 people per session, with family groups limited to 5. The amount of tickets one person can "purchase" will reflect this.
• If you don't register for a session, unfortunately you won't be able to attend Storytime.
• Book your ticket here:  https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/coffs-harbour-libraries-4254205431

Storytime sessions are held once a week at all library branches for pre-school aged children and are free. The session goes for about an hour.

We read a selection of picture books to the children, followed by craft activities.

The library has a large range of resources for children, including fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, audiobooks, music CDs and DVDs. You can find these items in the library catalogue by doing an Advanced Search and selecting a 'Junior' collection.

Other services and resources for children include:

Story Box Library - over 290 video stories that are read by Australian & New Zealand Storytellers. All stories have closed captions to encourage reading along and also include at home activities to either engage and promote learning from the content that has been viewed or simply to help pass the time.
To access it, just select your library from the dropdown menu and input your barcode when prompted.
*You might need to click the red text that reads: “Click here for library barcode login”
