Summer Reading Club

Our children’s Summer Reading Club is on again!  Coffs Harbour City Library has been running this successful program for over 12 years now. The theme for this year’s Summer Reading Club (SRC) is “Game On: Supercharge your Summer" and we’re encouraging all school-aged children (including those starting Kindergarten in 2018) to join in the fun.

The Summer Reading Club launches in December with a Christmas Craft Workshop for children.

Children can participate by joining online  or by calling in to Coffs Harbour, Toormina or Woolgoolga libraries from the beginning of December onwards.  All members will receive a kit containing summer reading ideas, a reading log and fun activities.

There is also the option of joining online at for a range of additional online activities.

The SRC encourages, reading, learning, and adventure - it’s all just for fun.

GAME ON: supercharge your summer is an invitation to celebrate our Aussie sporting culture, team-mateship and the countries who will be visiting this great land to participate in the Commonwealth Games (being hosted in Australia during April 2018).

All books read during the Summer Reading Club from the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge lists can be included in the following year's challenge totals.

See you at the library this summer! Look out for lots of activities during December and January.
