Children

Our Library offers a variety of services and programs for infants, children and young people.  Children are encouraged to join the library and you are never too young to become a member! The library is the perfect place to support the development of early literacy skills.

Ten Minutes a Day introduces your little one to interactive rhymes, songs, games and stories specifically chosen for children aged 0-2 years and their parents.

Our Storytime sessions for pre-schoolers are held weekly at each branch of the library. They are a fun filled session of stories, songs and craft.

We conduct school holiday activities for primary aged children, as well as events throughout the year to support literacy and learning.
The Summer Reading Club is held during December/January each year and we support children in reading for the NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge and the MS Readathon.

Youth events are held in Youth Week each year and regular information sessions provide support to school students at our local schools.
We also provide access for our library members to the YourTutor online tutoring program - just the thing to help with homework for students from Year 4 to Year 12.

The library catalogue gives you access to search our online and physical collections of information resources, books, talking books, magazines, graphic novels, movies, music and ebooks.
