The following special collections held by the library can assist users in their research and study:

Digital Business
- a growing collection of titles to support start-ups and local entrepreneurs make the best use of the online environment to market their wares and connect with their customers.

 

English Workshop logo.png
English Workshop
 - a small collection of English literacy titles to help people learn and improve their English literacy skills. The collection includes IELTS resources and abridged stories with accompanying talking book CD.

 


Legal Information
 - a core collection of legal information titles written in simple English and aimed at explaining the law for the non-practitioner. The collection includes a basic Tool Kit of titles and an expanded list of Law Books for Libraries. This resource is supported by the Legal Information Access Centre at the State Library of New South Wales.

Local Studies
 - our Local Studies collection includes stories about the Coffs Harbour region and its rich and varied past, as well as the characters in it. Council documents, including those on display, are also part of this collection.

Reference
 - a small collection of key resources including English & medical dictionaries, encyclopaedias, and Choice magazine. While all items in this collection are not for loan they are readily accessible on the shelf. Please ask staff for assistance.

 - a growing collection of titles to support sustainable environmental practices.
