The Library has a range of resources to help HSC students with their studies.
 
E-Resources (Online Databases) - Our e-resources are particularly useful for HSC students. Checkout ANZ Reference Centre for current issues and news articles, Bloom's Literary Reference Centre for English syllabus and Science Reference Centre for physics, chemistry and biology.
 
Connect to YourtutorYourtutor - an online tutoring service available for students from Years 4 through to 12, Monday to Friday.
 
Infocus Series -
This series of articles is specially selected for the HSC syllabus by the State Library of NSW (up to June 2011). Some of the resources held in this collection are also available online (check on our online databases, as well as the State Library's e-resources).
 
Society & Culture 'Personal Interest Project' Assignments -

Current Social and Environmental Issues
- The library holds newspaper clippings supplied by the 'Current Information Services' from Australian newspapers, for the last three years.  Some of the articles held in these folders (kept in our Reference Collection) can also be found online in the ANZ Reference Centre database.

- 'Issues in Society' is a unique series of books for up-to-date information on contemporary social issues. Each book in the series is a thoroughly researched compilation of the latest news, facts, opinions and statistics from a range of sources on one chosen topic.

Legal Studies Resources - the library maintains a special up-to-date legal information collection. 
 
Study Guides
- ask library staff about the extensive range of study guides available.
 
Free Public Access Computers & Internet
- Members are allowed one hour free computer and internet use. Bookings can be made seven days ahead on our electronic booking system. 
 
Study Space
- The students are welcome to use the library's spaces for individual or group study. 
 
Class Visits - We offer information sessions to schools each year. Schools are able to book the suitable sessions or make arrangements to visit the library at a preferred date and time to see specific resources.
