Are you unable to reach your local library because you are housebound? If so, the Home Library Service can help you.
The library provides this free home delivery service to the people of the Coffs Harbour local government area.
Items are delivered and collected every four weeks on a specific day, based on the member's personal profile.
Who is eligible?
Residents of the Coffs Harbour local government area who cannot visit the library due to ill-health or disability. Full time carers of housebound members are also eligible for the service.
Something to suit everyone
Our staff aim to provide a personalised service and customers are encouraged to make requests. You can borrow:
- Fiction and non-fiction item
- Large print books
- Audio books
- Music CDs
- DVDs - documentaries, movies, TV series
Home Library Service staff will search for specific information on behalf of customers such as:
- Other community services
- Personal interest topics
- Hobbies and crafts
- Legal information
- Medical information
- Local history
